What do I like about using my International Truck? The #1 thing I like about my truck is that it is comfortable. It performs very well and has plenty of power for higher elevations. The Towmaster package is especially nice, this feature is made by a company named Wier especially for International. Wier and International engineers teamed up to make the ultimate tow vehicle, hence the Towmaster. My truck has all the creature comforts of an RV. It has a 530 cubic inch diesel engine complete with a 6 speed Allison transmission, 4 wheel hydraulic air assisted brakes, engine brake, trailer brake and emergency brake. I would highly recommend it for anyone considering commercial towing. I purchased the truck new and it came with a 2 year bumper to bumper diamond spec. warranty.
How do you feel about contracting your services for Horizon Transport? I would summarize my driving experience by saying it has been a totally unique and satisfying experience. Horizon is a family owned company where everyone knows you by name. The complete staff is friendly and courteous, especially my dispatcher. Te settlements are prompt. I have logged over 100,000 miles in less than a year. I have visited and seen places I never envisioned seeing. My wife travels with me most of the time. I would say, if you like driving and seeing the US and getting paid to do it, I strongly recommend contract driving for Horizon.
